Who we are
Empowered Mental Health is an independent, woman owned practice serving Bismarck, Mandan, and all of North Dakota by telehealth. Our clinicians work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, with real specialization in trauma, anxiety, depression, and family systems.
We were named Best Mental Health Clinic in the Bismarck Tribune Best of the Best 2026.
What we look for
- Licensure in North Dakota, or eligibility for it, as an LCSW, LPCC, LAPC, LMSW, or equivalent
- Genuine clinical curiosity and a willingness to keep training
- Comfort working within a team rather than in isolation
- Specialization is welcome. Trauma modalities, play therapy, PCIT, and couples work are all areas we would like to deepen

Practicum and internship
We take a limited number of graduate students each year and provide supervision toward licensure. If you are a student looking for a placement, tell us your program, your timeline, and your hour requirements.
