Talia Biederstedt, LCSW
Talia Biederstedt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Empowered Mental Health, PLLC. She specializes in helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate trauma, anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
With extensive experience working with children and families, Talia has developed expertise in supporting parents through challenging behaviors, strengthening parent-child relationships, and helping children and adolescents build emotional regulation skills. She helps clients identify practical solutions while supporting long-term growth and healing.
Talia is trained in EMDR, including EMDR with children, and is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy through PCIT International. She also brings Internal Family Systems and parts work into treatment to help clients better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, and build self-compassion.
Clients appreciate Talia’s authentic, approachable style and her ability to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they can show up exactly as they are. She believes therapy should feel collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client. She also provides supervision for Licensed Master Social Workers pursuing independent clinical licensure in North Dakota.
